General Anesthesiologist | 10 Weeks PTO | Live & Work in St. Petersburg, FL

HCA Florida Pasadena Hospital and HCA Florida St. Petersburg Hospital are seeking a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible General Anesthesiologist to join a cohesive, collegial anesthesia team serving two hospitals located just 10 minutes apart. This hospital-employed opportunity offers a diverse case mix, excellent work-life balance, and the support of an experienced Care Team model.

Position Overview

• Care Team model of 4 Anesthesiologists and 13 CRNAs rotating between two facilities located 10 minutes apart
• 80/20 practice model consisting primarily of medical direction with opportunities to perform your own cases
• Case mix includes General Surgery, Orthopedics, Spine, Urology, Gastroenterology, and Obstetrics
• No cardiac, neurosurgical, or pediatric cases
• Approximately 6,000 surgical cases annually
• Home beeper call (7:00 PM-7:00 AM) averaging 7 shifts per month
• Additional call and extra shifts available with additional compensation
• Cross-credentialing with HCA Florida Largo Hospital and HCA Florida Northside Hospital
• Regional block proficiency required to support opioid-sparing and ERAS programs

Qualified Candidates

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Eligible for or currently hold an unrestricted Florida medical license
• Current DEA registration or ability to obtain unrestricted DEA registration
• Regional block proficiency required
• Comfortable supervising CRNAs while also performing your own cases
