General Anesthesiologist | 10 Weeks PTO | Hospital Employed | Tampa, FL

CA Florida South Tampa Hospital is seeking a full-time General Anesthesiologist to join our vibrant, patient-centered, established anesthesia team in Tampa, Florida.

Position Overview

• Anesthesia Care Team model of 4 Anesthesiologists and 10 CRNAs covering 10 ORs plus Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, and Endoscopy
• Medical direction model with 1:4 CRNA supervision
• Diverse case mix including General Surgery, Bariatric, Orthopedic/Spine, Vascular, Neuro, Gynecology, GI, Endoscopy, ENT, and Urology
• No trauma, obstetrics, or pediatric cases
• Average of 25 surgical cases per day
• Equitably shared beeper call among physicians

Qualified Candidates

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesiology
• Eligible for or currently hold an unrestricted Florida medical license
• Current DEA registration or ability to obtain unrestricted DEA registration
• Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care
