AdventHealth Daytona Beach and AdventHealth Medical Group are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible General and Functional Neurosurgeon to join their established program in coastal Florida. This role offers a full-scope neurosurgery mix, including functional procedures like Deep Brain Stimulation, supported by an experienced team of five surgeons and dedicated Neuro ICU. Providers will enjoy a collaborative group call coverage model and the opportunity to help shape the future of neurosurgical care in the East Florida Division. Practice Info
- Established and well-rounded Neurosurgery program
- Mix of craniotomy, spinal cases, minimally invasive, and endoscopic procedures
- Open surgery, microsurgery, and peripheral nerve
- Treatment of movement disorders, Parkinson's disease, and epilepsy through Deep Brain Stimulation and other appropriate therapies
- Dedicated Neuro ICU with epilepsy monitoring
- Stereotactic surgery
- APP support both inpatient and outpatient, including weekend and night coverage
- Additional operating rooms being added in 2026
- Group call coverage
- Not a trauma hospital
Responsibilities
- Provide full-scope Neurosurgery care
- Perform craniotomy, spinal cases, minimally invasive, and endoscopic procedures
- Perform open surgery, microsurgery, and peripheral nerve procedures
- Treat movement disorders, Parkinson's disease, and epilepsy through Deep Brain Stimulation and other appropriate therapies
- Perform stereotactic surgery
- Help advance AdventHealth into a world-class Neurosurgery destination
- Help enhance and cultivate the program throughout the East Florida Division
