General & Functional Neurosurgeon

AdventHealth Daytona Beach and AdventHealth Medical Group are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Neurosurgeon to join their established Neurosurgery program. This role involves full-scope neurosurgery, including craniotomy, spinal cases, minimally invasive, and endoscopic procedures, as well as functional neurosurgery. The successful candidate will join a group of five experienced surgeons and contribute to enhancing the program within the East Florida Division.

Practice Info

• Join a group of five experienced surgeons
• Full-scope Neurosurgery practice
• Mix of craniotomy, spinal cases, minimally invasive, and endoscopic procedures
• Functional Neurosurgery for movement disorders, Parkinson's disease, and epilepsy through Deep Brain Stimulation and other appropriate therapies
• Dedicated Neuro ICU with epilepsy monitoring
• APP support both inpatient and outpatient, including weekend and night coverage
• Group call coverage
• Not a trauma hospital

Responsibilities

• Enhance and cultivate the Neurosurgery program throughout the East Florida Division
• Perform craniotomy, spinal cases, minimally invasive, and endoscopic procedures
• Conduct open surgery, microsurgery, and peripheral nerve procedures
• Provide functional neurosurgery treatment for movement disorders, Parkinson's disease, and epilepsy through Deep Brain Stimulation and other appropriate therapies
• Utilize stereotactic surgery techniques
• Help advance AdventHealth into a world-class Neurosurgery destination
