AdventHealth Daytona Beach and AdventHealth Medical Group are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Neurosurgeon to join their established Neurosurgery program. This role involves full-scope neurosurgery, including craniotomy, spinal cases, minimally invasive, and endoscopic procedures, as well as functional neurosurgery. The successful candidate will join a group of five experienced surgeons and contribute to enhancing the program within the East Florida Division.
Practice Info
- Join a group of five experienced surgeons
- Full-scope Neurosurgery practice
- Mix of craniotomy, spinal cases, minimally invasive, and endoscopic procedures
- Functional Neurosurgery for movement disorders, Parkinson's disease, and epilepsy through Deep Brain Stimulation and other appropriate therapies
- Dedicated Neuro ICU with epilepsy monitoring
- APP support both inpatient and outpatient, including weekend and night coverage
- Group call coverage
- Not a trauma hospital
Responsibilities
- Enhance and cultivate the Neurosurgery program throughout the East Florida Division
- Perform craniotomy, spinal cases, minimally invasive, and endoscopic procedures
- Conduct open surgery, microsurgery, and peripheral nerve procedures
- Provide functional neurosurgery treatment for movement disorders, Parkinson's disease, and epilepsy through Deep Brain Stimulation and other appropriate therapies
- Utilize stereotactic surgery techniques
- Help advance AdventHealth into a world-class Neurosurgery destination
