Leading a team of platform engineers in a hands-on capacity, the remote GenAI Platform Engineering Lead will own the delivery of the enterprise GenAI platform roadmap, ensuring technical quality and production operations while contributing to critical-path components. Key responsibilities Own the delivery of the platform roadmap, including gateway hardening, model integrations, and observability hooks Lead, coach, and develop the platform engineering team while managing priorities across buildout and support Partner with the Enablement team to ensure governance standards and platform enforcement operate cohesively Required qualifications Bachelor's degree with at least 7 years of technology experience, including hands-on platform or application engineering and prior leadership experience; or 11 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree Deep hands-on experience with Azure platform services, including API Management and Azure AI services Experience with GenAI, model integration, and AI-assisted engineering workflows Proven experience operating production platforms in a regulated environment Demonstrated ability to lead as a working manager rather than an administrator
