Rate: $Market/Hour on W2

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced GCP Platform Engineer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Python, Terraform, and Cloud Networking. The ideal candidate will design, automate, secure, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure while implementing reliable networking solutions, infrastructure as code, and cloud security best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and manage GCP networking including VPC, Shared VPC, Subnets, Routes, Firewall Policies, and Cloud DNS
• Implement secure ingress/egress architecture, NAT, Load Balancers, and Private Google Access
• Support hybrid connectivity using Cloud VPN and Cloud Interconnect
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform
• Build scalable cloud platform capabilities using Python
• Strengthening cloud security through IAM, segmentation, and security controls
• Troubleshoot network connectivity using logs, flow data, and systematic analysis
• Collaborate with DevOps and SRE teams to improve platform reliability and automation

Required Skills:
• 8 14 years of overall IT experience
• 6 9 years of experience with GCP & Python
• 5+ years of experience in:
o Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
o Terraform
o Cloud Networking
o Infrastructure Automation
• Strong knowledge of:
o VPC, Shared VPC
o Load Balancers
o Cloud VPN & Interconnect
o NAT
o Firewall Configuration
o Security Groups
o Routing & DNS
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Strong troubleshooting and cloud networking skills
