GCP Network & Infrastructure EngineerAs a Network Engineer Contractor, you will design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and enterprise-grade network solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
The role focuses on building robust cloud networking infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and seamless hybrid connectivity across enterprise environments.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement LAN, WAN, and wireless network infrastructureConfigure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and access pointsDesign and manage GCP networking components including VPCs, subnets, Cloud Router, Cloud NAT, firewall policies, and load balancingImplement hybrid connectivity solutions such as VPN and InterconnectMonitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize connectivityImplement security controls and network segmentation to ensure compliance and protection against vulnerabilitiesAutomate network provisioning and infrastructure deployment using Terraform and PythonCollaborate with cloud, platform, security, and application teams to integrate networking solutions with enterprise systemsMaintain documentation for network configurations, standards, and operational proceduresRequired Skills:Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) networkingExpertise in VPC design, firewall management, load balancing, DNS, and hybrid cloud networkingHands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)Strong Python scripting and automation skillsExperience with enterprise network security and compliance best practicesKnowledge of routing, switching, TCP/IP, VPNs, and network troubleshootingExperience supporting multi-region and hybrid cloud environmentsPreferred Qualifications:Experience in enterprise cloud transformation projectsFamiliarity with CI/CD and cloud automation workflowsStrong communication and documentation skills
