Leading the design and development of scalable data pipelines, the contract GCP Data Engineer Tech Lead will work 100% remotely, focusing on architecture decisions, mentorship of junior engineers, and collaboration with product owners to ensure data quality and performance. Key responsibilities Design and build scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows on GCP Lead architecture decisions and enforce best practices for data engineering Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field 10+ years in data engineering with strong GCP ecosystem experience Proven experience leading teams or acting as a technical lead Strong hands-on coding skills in Python and SQL Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Composer
