Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data integration solutions on GCP.
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes using modern data engineering frameworks.
- Implement and monitor data quality, validation, reconciliation, and governance controls.
- Work with structured and unstructured data to support analytics, reporting, and AI/ML initiatives.
- Collaborate with business, analytics, and architecture teams to define data requirements and solutions.
- Ensure data reliability, performance, security, and compliance across data platforms.
- Troubleshoot data issues and drive continuous improvements in data processes.
Required Skills
- 8-10 years of experience in Data Engineering and Data Warehousing.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Composer).
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and batch/streaming data solutions.
- Solid experience with Data Quality frameworks, data profiling, validation, reconciliation, and data governance practices.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, performance tuning, and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
