Position Details

• Status: Full time

• Schedule: M-F, no weekends, no call
• Pay Range: $54.90 - $82.35

Education / Experience

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant Program, Master's degree preferred

Licensure / Certification

• Current applicable state Medical Board Medical License
• Certified by NCCPA

Essential Functions

• Using medical decision‑making skills to determine appropriate patient care plans.
• Collaborates with medical team when needed for effective team‑based care.
• Orders and interprets laboratory studies and diagnostic procedures; explains necessity, preparation, and anticipated effects of scheduled procedures to the patient.
• Procedural skills per department or practice guidelines.
• Opportunity to participate in basic science and clinical research projects.
• Potential for and encouraged to precept students and/or medical learners.
• Upholds AHWFB missions, values, and cultural commitment.
• Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Physical Requirements

Compensation

• Base compensation within the listed pay range based on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, and/or training.
• Premium pay such as shift pay, on‑call, and more based on the teammate’s job.
