Open Rank General Gastroenterologist

The Division of Gastroenterology & Nutrition in the Department of Medicine seeks several full‑time academic GI clinician/educators at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor faculty rank (Tenure or Non‑Tenure track options). The positions enhance our missions in patient care and teaching, providing and contributing to excellent gastroenterology services at our clinical sites, including the Multispecialty and Research Hospital, Kyle Seale Parkway ASC, multiple UT Health Clinics, Mays Cancer Center, and University Hospital procedure and clinical service lines.

The division includes talented faculty, mid‑level providers, and a large trainees program with 15 GI fellows and 2 Advanced Endoscopy Fellows, offering opportunities for independent practice and teaching of Gastroenterology Fellows in multiple clinical settings.

Successful candidates will mentor a variety of learners in clinical research and scholarly pursuits, and must hold an MD or equivalent degree. Candidates must be board‑eligible or board‑certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, and licensed in the state of Texas by the appointment start date.
