Gastroenterology Physician

The Palm Beach Health Network is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to join their growing team at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center. This full-time position offers a balanced mix of inpatient consultative care and outpatient gastroenterology practice, allowing the successful candidate to provide comprehensive digestive health services. The role emphasizes both acute care for hospitalized patients and long-term patient relationships in a clinic setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation and management for hospitalized patients with acute GI disorders
• Perform urgent and elective procedures, including EGD, colonoscopy, PEG placement, and GI bleeding interventions
• Collaborate closely with hospitalists, intensivists, surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in a shared call schedule to support inpatient coverage
• Manage a full spectrum of gastrointestinal and liver diseases in a clinic setting
• Perform routine and advanced endoscopic procedures in an outpatient environment
• Provide preventive care, including colorectal cancer screening and surveillance
• Build long-term patient relationships with continuity-focused care

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Completion of Gastroenterology fellowship training
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Eligible for medical licensure in FL
