Clinical Role
Provide short-term Gastroenterology coverage for inpatient consults and GI procedures, including ERCP and EUS.
Assignment Details
Coverage Dates: 11/5/26 - 11/18/26
Schedule:
- Thursday 7:00 AM-Thursday 7:00 AM
- 7-day assignment
- Inpatient and GI lab coverage
Clinical Responsibilities
- Perform colonoscopies on Mon-Fri schedule
- Perform ERCP and EUS
- Evaluate inpatient GI consultations
- Perform additional GI procedures as needed
- Manage assigned and unassigned patients
Call
- Beeper call
- Approximately 4-6 patients seen
- Call ratio: 4:6
Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterology - Required
- Gastroenterology Fellowship - Required
- Active Texas license - Required
- ERCP and EUS - Required
- ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS - Required
- Trauma Level I/II
- Epic EMR
