We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Gastroenterologist to join our growing outpatient practice in Sarasota, Florida. This position offers an excellent opportunity to provide comprehensive digestive health services in a patient-centered environment while working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team.
The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering exceptional care, diagnosing and treating a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders, and performing endoscopic procedures while maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with gastrointestinal and liver disorders.
- Perform outpatient procedures including upper endoscopy (EGD), colonoscopy, and other diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures.
- Develop individualized treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions.
- Manage conditions such as GERD, IBS, IBD, liver disease, pancreatitis, gastrointestinal bleeding, and colorectal cancer screening.
- Interpret laboratory, pathology, imaging, and endoscopic findings.
- Provide patient education regarding disease management, preventive care, and treatment options.
- Coordinate care with primary care physicians, surgeons, oncologists, and other specialists.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to clinical excellence.
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
- Completion of an accredited Gastroenterology Fellowship.
- Active Florida medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Strong clinical and procedural skills.
- Excellent communication and patient care abilities.

- Annual Salary: $500,000 $650,000
