Position

Full‑time Board Certified/Board Eligible General Gastroenterologist at Riverside Gastroenterology Specialists in Smithfield, Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive gastrointestinal care in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as colonoscopy and endoscopy.
• Participate in inpatient consults and call coverage.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients on gastrointestinal health, prevention, and treatment options.
• Engage in teaching and mentoring of residents and advanced practice providers as desired.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
• License to practice in Virginia.
• Current DEA certification.
