Gastroenterology Physician

Join a large, multi-specialty group in Northern New Jersey as a Gastroenterologist (GI) physician. This group offers a 100% outpatient practice model and the opportunity for partnership.

Function

• Collaborate with a team of three other GIs and a Colorectal Surgeon.
• Benefit from a strong referral base of primary care physicians and specialists.
• Work within an established group of providers and experienced support staff.
• Cover a large territory/patient service radius, spending time in Randolph and Ledgewood areas, split between an office and an ambulatory surgery center.
• Affiliated with a hospital for referrals and hospitalizations, with a relationship with Atlantic Health starting July 1, 2024.
• Join a physician-owned and managed, high-functioning group focused on patient-centered care.

Compensation and Benefits

Requirements

• Residency training in Internal Medicine with Fellowship training in Gastroenterology.
• New Jersey license preferred but not required (plan to obtain or in process strongly preferred).
• Physicians graduating in the next 12 months from residency/fellowship will be considered.
• ERCP work can happen for call, rare but need to be comfortable.

Additional Information

The group is part of an 11-location multi-specialty practice that entered into a joint venture with a major health system in July 2024. This offers the benefit of a recognized name while maintaining independence, with opportunities for ownership and partnership long-term. The group is primarily based in Sussex County but is looking to expand further into Morris County, with eventual goals to set up another surgery center or office in Hackettstown or Morristown.
