What You ll Do
- Provide outpatient and procedural Gastroenterology care within a general and advanced scope of practice
- Perform procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, and other specialty interventions
- Manage complex GI conditions, including active bleeds, strictures, and stent placements
- Collaborate with support staff, including APPs, to optimize patient care
- Respond to urgent and routine consults, providing timely interventions
- Document all procedures and patient interactions accurately in Meditech EMR
- Support patient education and build lasting provider-patient relationships
What You Need
- Medical license in Kentucky or eligible for licensure
- Experience performing a variety of GI procedures, including ERCP and colonoscopy
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
