Clinical Requirements:- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- ERCP required
- EUS preferred
- Admissions required
- ACLS and BLS required
- Life-support certifications for sedation privileges must be through the American Heart Association
- Physician must be willing to request privileges to perform procedures on pediatric patients age 13+ and weighing over 65 kg
Experience with the following is preferred/required based on facility needs:
- Upper and lower GI endoscopy
- Colonoscopy
- ERCP diagnostic and therapeutic
- EUS
- PEG
- Esophageal dilation/manometry
- Biopsy and polyp removal
- Hemostasis/bleeding control
- Variceal injection
- Liver biopsy
- Flexible sigmoidoscopy
- Level II Trauma Center
- Level II Pediatrics
- 3 RNs, 4 MAs, 8 APPs, and 6 office staff
- No APP supervision required
- No resident/teaching supervision required
- Temporary privileges available
- Estimated credentialing: approximately 60 days
