Gastroenterology Physician

Opportunity:

Physician (MD) - Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology

Job Details:

• Assignment dates: November 24, 7:00 AM through December 7, 7:00 AM


• See inpatient consults, ED consults, and transfers


• ERCP preferred


• Required procedures include upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder, injection of varices, PEG placement, esophageal dilatation/manometry, esophageal manometry interpretation, small bowel biopsy, lower GI endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy (flexible and rigid), colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision, liver biopsy, and insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube


• ERCP (diagnostic and therapeutic) and endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) preferred


• Board certification required at minimum certified level


• ACLS certification required


• Facility is a Level 3 trauma center
