This private practice opened nearly 20 years ago with a focus on the prevention and treatment of problems of the digestive tract. They treat diseases and disorders of the esophagus, stomach, intestines, colon, liver, gallbladder, and pancreas, as well as offer nutritional counseling and intervention. They use state-of-the-art technology in a compassionate, professional environment. They operate out of 5 conveniently-located outpatient sites and have a staff of 4 physicians and 1 physician assistant. They are currently hiring due to growth.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The new physician will work in a traditional outpatient setting, providing general gastroenterology services with the support of dedicated clinical and administrative assistants.
The services of the practice include, but are not limited to:
- consultations
- follow-up visits
- treatment of GI conditions
- colonoscopy
- capsule endoscopy
- upper endoscopy
- ERCP
- colon cancer screening
- nutrition counseling
They see patients for such conditions as:
- GERD
- IBS
- hemorrhoids
- ulcerative colitis
- Crohn’s disease
- abdominal pain
- pancreas disease
- acid reflux
- and much more
Physicians see an average of 25 to 30 patients per day; this number is adjusted based on type of appointment scheduled, patient needs, and provider preference. Ample support, resources, and assistants are always available to help as needed. The practice uses an EHR.
REQUIREMENTS
- Florida medical license
- DEA
- Board Certified or Eligible, Gastroenterology
