Gastroenterology Physician

A reputable private practice in Northern New Jersey, WCS Healthcare Partners, is seeking a Gastroenterology physician due to a pending retirement. Join an outpatient multi-specialty group with a strong referral base. The practice includes an ambulatory surgery center with procedure block time built into the schedule. It has strong hospital affiliations, providing opportunities for rounding and consultations at two hospitals, enhancing the referral base through these relationships.

Responsibilities

• Immediate patient base from retiring physician and large primary care referral group.
• Work at multiple office locations with standard business hours, including one later evening per week.
• Collaborate in a physician-owned and managed environment, working alongside 10 full-time Gastroenterology physicians and one experienced GI Nurse Practitioner.
• Perform hospital consults and rounds at two hospitals in the area.
• Engage in both general practice and specialty areas, such as IBD or liver, if applicable.

Requirements

• New Jersey State license, DEA, CSR (active or applied preferred, but not required).
• Residency training in Internal Medicine and Fellowship training in Gastroenterology.
