Pay & Benefits

• Pay package discussed upon application
• Orientation: $262.50 (half the hourly rate) after 8 hours
• On-call Rate: up to $5,200 per 24 hours, plus callback and holiday rates
• Holiday Call Rate: $7,800 per 24 hours

What You ll Do

• Provide inpatient Gastroenterology consultations and procedures, including ERCP, EUS, and endoscopy
• Manage GI bleeding and evaluate complex GI problems
• Cover scheduled shifts, including on-call duties, with support from hospital staff
• Collaborate with hospital teams in a Level 1 Trauma Center setting
• Follow EMR procedures using EPIC system
• Ensure quality patient care during high-volume GI services

What You Need

• Active Colorado medical license or IMLC
• At least 3 years of GI experience, including ERCP
• Strong skills in endoscopy, EUS, GI bleed management, and patient evaluation
• Ability to work independently in a hospital environment
• Availability for scheduled dates and flexible with shifts

About the Assignment
This assignment is at a busy Level 1 Trauma center in Lakewood, Colorado, supporting inpatient GI services for adult and adolescent patients. The facility handles 8-10 new admissions daily, with support from 24/7 intensivists and hospitalists. Experienced GI physicians will perform scopes, ERCPs, and other procedures to contribute to patient care and coverage needs during scheduled gaps.
