Pay & Benefits

• Pay package discussed upon application
• Orientation: $262.50 (half hourly rate, after 8 hours)
• On Call Rate: up to $5,200 per 24 hours (including 8 hours gratis)
• Holiday On-Call: up to $7,800 per 24 hours (including 8 hours gratis)
• Call Back: up to $525/hour (patient contact hours)
• Holiday Call Back: up to $787.50/hour

What You'll Do

• Provide inpatient Gastroenterology consults and procedures including ERCP, EUS, Endoscopy, and GI bleed management
• Evaluate and treat GI problems in adult and geriatric patients
• Manage acute and chronic GI conditions in a Level 1 Trauma hospital
• Collaborate with hospital staff for patient care planning
• Document care using EPIC EMR system
• Support hospital protocols for trauma and emergency procedures
• Participate in on-call coverage and urgent procedures as needed

What You Need

• Colorado medical license or Active IMLC
• Minimum 3 years of Gastroenterology experience, including ERCP and EUS procedures
• Ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment
• Strong communication and clinical skills
• Commitment to providing excellent patient care

About the Assignment
This is a critical coverage role at a Level 1 Trauma center in Lakewood, CO, providing both scheduled procedures and urgent consults. The facility is staffed with 24/7 intensivists and hospitalists, supporting comprehensive patient care. The provider will join a team handling a diverse GI patient population, with a focus on emergency and trauma cases requiring advanced procedures.
