Gastroenterology Faculty
Start Date: ASAP
Available Shifts: 6 half days endoscopy, 2 half days clinic, 2 half days
Pay Rate: $340,000.00 - $400,000.00
Position Overview
The Division of Gastroenterology in the Department of Medicine, Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio seeks a full‑time academic Gastroenterology (GI) Clinician/Educator at the Assistant Professor rank to enhance our missions in both patient care and teaching.
Responsibilities
- Provide and contribute to the delivery of inpatient GI consultation and inpatient endoscopy services performed at University Hospital.
- Participate in outpatient GI consultation and endoscopy services at the Robert B. Green Campus of University Health System and at the Medical Arts & Research Center.
- Teach Gastroenterology Fellows in a diversity of clinical settings and mentor them in clinical research and scholarly pursuits.
Qualifications
- Applicants must possess a Texas Medical Board licensure or have an application in process, and a board certification or be in the process of obtaining board certification.
