Sanford Health is seeking a BC/BE fellowship-trained Gastroenterologist to join their multi-specialty practice at Marshfield Medical Center - Eau Claire in Wisconsin. This role involves providing comprehensive outpatient and inpatient GI coverage, supported by Advanced Practice Clinicians. Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient and inpatient coverage for all GI needs
- Perform history and physical examinations
- Admit patients (if applicable to the setting)
- Provide consultative services
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide nonsurgical care to adolescent and adult patients presenting with illnesses, injuries, and disorders of the stomach, intestines, and related structures, such as the esophagus, liver, gallbladder, and pancreas, including biopsies
Compensation
- Compensation floor of $750,000 for the first two years of the employment contract, plus estimated potential to exceed compensation floor from personally performed wRVUs
- $100,000 retention incentive to be paid if you remain a 1.0 FTE for 4 years

Requirements
- H-1B visa sponsorship available
- BC/BE fellowship-trained Gastroenterologist
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Successful completion of an Internal Medicine residency program
- Completion of a fellowship in Gastroenterology accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
- Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
- If not board certified at the time of application but completed fellowship training within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of fellowship training
- Ability to demonstrate active involvement in 50 gastroenterology cases in the last 12 months (for applicants not applying directly out of a fellowship)
