Gastroenterologist

This clinic and hospital facility is seeking a locum tenens Gastroenterologist starting in September on an ongoing basis to provide comprehensive care in Virginia. The clinician will handle inpatient and outpatient settings, managing approximately 16-18 adult patients per day with clinic visits and scoping procedures. The role requires both day shifts and call coverage to ensure continuous patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide general gastroenterology coverage across inpatient and outpatient clinic settings
• Manage approximately 16-18 patients per day on a day shift schedule
• Perform clinic visits, scoping procedures, and outpatient gastroenterology care delivered on-site
• Provide call coverage structured at 4 nights per month with call availability 7 days per week

Qualifications

• Board certification in Gastroenterology is required
• MD
