Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and clinic-based gastroenterology coverage
• Manage an average daily census of 20-25 patients
• Handle 8-10 admissions
• Perform an average of 4 procedures per day, including 2-4 add-on procedures
• Provide unrestricted call coverage with an average of 1-2 callbacks expected

Shift & Schedule

• Dates needed: December - May
• Day Shift
• Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Weekend shifts running 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
• Call required: Yes
• Call coverage structured from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM on an unrestricted basis

Requirements

• Board certification required
• MD
• ERCP proficiency is preferred for this assignment
