Presbyterian Medical Group seeks a BE/BC Gastroenterologist trained physician to join our established practice in Santa Fe, New Mexico. In this full-time role, you will deliver comprehensive clinical care across clinic and lab settings while collaborating with leadership to drive quality and performance. Practice Info
- Established practice in Santa Fe, New Mexico
- Dedicated GI Lab time 2-3 times per week seeing on average 12-15 patients per day
- Clinic patient visits 1 1/2 days per week
Responsibilities
- Delivers clinical care to patients in the PMG GI practice in all venues including clinic and lab
- Support mechanisms to gather and report quality measures
- Receives and resolves patient, staff and provider complaints
- Participates in quality improvement plans
- Works with the leadership team including clinic manager and lab manager on the practices financial, clinical, and service quality performance
- Participates in the recruitment and retention of physicians and staff who work in the practice
- Takes corrective action when arranged with accountability and authority
- Determines care plans for patients, executes them, and teaches, trains and oversees APCs in the care they deliver to GI patients in clinic

- Expected work schedule; 36 hours of direct patient care, 4 hours of administrative time
Qualifications
- M.D./D.O. in clinical practice
- Current New Mexico License required
- Board certified in Gastroenterology
