Gastroenterologist – $860K Base | Northeast Florida

St. Augustine, Florida | $50K Sign-On Package | Full-Time

HealthYes Staffing Network is seeking a Gastroenterologist for a permanent hospital-employed opportunity in Northeast Florida.

This position offers an $860,000 guaranteed base salary, productivity and wRVU incentives, a community-focused practice environment, broad clinical variety, and access to Jacksonville and Florida’s Atlantic coast.

Practice Design

The physician’s week may include:

• Two outpatient clinic days
• Two endoscopy and procedural days
• One flexible day for hospital consultations, care coordination, administration, or program development
• APP-supported inpatient and outpatient care
• Shared clinical coverage

Clinical Focus

The incoming physician will provide care across a range of gastrointestinal conditions, including:

• General gastroenterology
• Gastroesophageal and intestinal disorders
• Inflammatory bowel disease
• Liver and hepatology conditions
• Gastrointestinal bleeding
• Gastrointestinal cancers
• Pancreaticobiliary disorders
• Diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy
• Inpatient consultations
• Outpatient follow-up care

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Internal Medicine residency training
• Completed or anticipated Gastroenterology fellowship
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Eligible for Florida medical licensure
• Strong patient-communication and clinical decision-making skills
• Experienced gastroenterologists and graduating fellows considered
• 2027 and 2028 fellowship graduates encouraged to apply

ERCP experience may be incorporated into the practice but is not required.
