Gastroenterologist

Mount Sinai Health System is seeking a full-time Gastroenterologist for Mount Sinai Queens Hospital in Astoria, New York City. This role offers a phenomenal opportunity to provide excellent patient care to a diverse community, treating a broad spectrum of Gastroenterology conditions. Practice Info

• Located at Mount Sinai Queens Hospital in Astoria, New York City
• Works in conjunction with Internists, specialists, and administrative staff members
• Support Staff: Nurse Aides, Registered Nurses, PAs, full-service on-site imaging center
• EMR system: Epic
• No research or administrative responsibilities required; teaching is optional

Responsibilities

• Give excellent care to a diverse community of patients that need treatment for a broad spectrum of Gastroenterology conditions and diseases
• Play an instrumental role in ensuring excellent patient care, quality outcomes, and satisfaction
• Appointed as an Assistant Professor (or higher commensurate with experience) in the Department of Gastroenterology in the Icahn School of Medicine
• Teach Gastroenterology residents on electives from ACGME-approved Gastroenterology residency programs (optional)
• Teach medical students on electives from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (optional)

Compensation

• Compensation range from $425,000 to $500,000 (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)

Requirements

• Medical Degree from an Accredited University
• New York Medical License/Active NYS DEA
• BE or BC in Gastroenterology
• Excellent clinical skills
• Passion for Gastroenterology
