Our client, a well-established, high-volume gastroenterology practice with a strong presence in Suffolk County, Long Island, is hiring a Gastroenterologist . This practice offers a unique opportunity for a dedicated gastroenterologist to join a respected team committed to providing exceptional patient care while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Responsibilities

  • Conduct outpatient GI consultations and procedures, managing a high patient volume efficiently within a supportive environment.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated Physician Assistant (PA) and clinical support staff to ensure streamlined patient care, administrative processes, and follow-up communication.
  • Perform procedures at the affiliated ambulatory surgery center, supporting the practice's high procedural volume.
  • Maintain adherence to practice standards and contribute to a positive practice environment, with potential for long-term partnership and ownership opportunities.

Requirements

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology.
  • Minimum of 4 years of prior experience in outpatient GI practice, with preference for candidates familiar with high-volume outpatient settings.
  • Strong clinical decision-making skills, excellent communication, and teamwork orientation.
  • Ability to work independently, leveraging dedicated clinical support to minimize administrative burdens.
  • Commitment to building a long-term relationship within an established practice.
  • Additional beneficial qualities include experience with endoscopic procedures, proficiency with RVU-based productivity models, and interest in long-term partnership opportunities.
