SSM Health Dean Medical Group is actively seeking a full-time Board Certified Gastroenterologist to join the SSM Health St. Marys Outpatient Center in Madison, Wisconsin. In this role, you will provide comprehensive clinical care across inpatient, outpatient, and procedural settings alongside an experienced team of GI specialists, APPs, and dietitians. The position offers an engaging blend of procedures and clinic work, supported by fully integrated technology and a dedicated clinical team.
Practice Info
- Approximately 80% outpatient and 20% inpatient care
- Anticipate 10-12 cases per day
- Features excellent procedural, pharmacy, and infusion services
- Utilizes a fully integrated EPIC EMR across the system
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care in the inpatient, outpatient, and procedural setting
- Perform established procedures including upper and lower endoscopy
- Perform ERCP procedures

- Two-year guaranteed salary

Shift & Schedule
- Full-time (1.0 FTE)
- Four-day clinical work week with one administrative day
- Call 1:9 for IP
- ERCP call 1:5 weekends
- Outreach in Janesville 2 days per week for both procedures and clinic
Requirements
- Board Certified Gastroenterologist
- MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited residency
- Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship
- ERCP skills necessary
- EUS preferred
