About this role

As a Physician in Gastroenterology you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will be an employed Medical Group Gastroenterologist within a large non‑for‑profit health system. We have a strong community need for increased access to GI and Endoscopy care and have a team‑based GI practice model with physicians, APP support, and nurse teamwork across our clinic and endoscopy locations.

You will benefit from a strong referral base, and we will help support you in building your GI practice.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting base salary of $660,000 per annum.
  • $100,000 sign‑on bonus.
  • Up to $20,000 in relocation assistance.
  • $1,500 monthly stipend.
  • Up to $75,000 in student loan repayment when applicable.

Location: Budge Clinic, Logan Regional Hospital, Logan, Utah.

Work hours: 32 patient‑facing hours per week with opportunity for a four‑day work week.

Call responsibilities: 1 on 4.

What you’ll bring

  • MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine.
  • U.S. ACGME Residency training in Internal Medicine and Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology.
  • General gastroenterology and endoscopy care skills are required; ERCP experience welcomed.
  • Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one.
  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process.
  • Candidates requiring visa sponsorship will be reviewed on an individual basis.
