Gastroenterologist

AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is seeking a dynamic and energetic Gastroenterologist to serve the needs of Lake County. The ideal candidate will be eager to build a practice, foster collegial relationships with community physicians, and manage a high-volume caseload. This role emphasizes evidence-based medicine with a concentration on patient-centered care within a busy practice aligned with AdventHealth's mission and vision.

Responsibilities

• Build a practice
• Foster collegial relationships with community-based physicians
• Handle a very high-volume case load
• Practice all aspects of general Gastroenterology
• Provide busy ED call at one hospital
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills
• Place a strong emphasis on evidence-based medicine with a concentration on patient centered care

Requirements

• Desire to build a practice
• Desire to handle a very high-volume case load
• Board Certification in Gastroenterology (ABMS or AOA) is required
• Desire to join a busy practice and fit within the mission and vision of AdventHealth
• ERCP preferred, but not required
• Spanish speaking physician preferred but not necessary
