HealthYes Staffing Network is recruiting a Gastroenterologist for an established hospital-employed opportunity in coastal Southern California.

The position combines a $970,000 guaranteed base salary , productivity and wRVU compensation, a balanced clinical schedule, modern endoscopic resources, and access to the greater San Diego market.

Clinical Schedule

The practice may be structured around:

• Two outpatient consultation days
• Two dedicated endoscopy days
• One inpatient consultation or procedural-support day
• Shared coverage and care coordination
• Flexibility for advanced procedural interests

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat adult gastrointestinal conditions
• Provide outpatient specialty consultations
• Perform colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, and therapeutic procedures
• Provide inpatient gastrointestinal consultations
• Manage inflammatory bowel disease
• Treat hepatology and liver-related conditions
• Evaluate gastrointestinal bleeding
• Manage pancreaticobiliary disorders
• Coordinate care with hospitalists, surgeons, oncologists, APPs, nurses, and referring clinicians
• Support clinical quality and patient safety

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Accredited Internal Medicine residency
• Gastroenterology fellowship training
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Eligible for California medical licensure
• Strong procedural and communication skills
• Experienced physicians and new fellowship graduates considered
• 2027 and 2028 fellows are welcome
• Advanced endoscopy experience is valued but not mandatory
