Gastroenterologist

Join a full-service acute care hospital in Merced, California for an ongoing locum tenens Gastroenterology opportunity starting ASAP. The role involves 24-hour call coverage with 7 to 15 shifts per month, managing adult patients and handling 3 to 7 GI consults per day. Physicians will perform a wide range of procedures supported by dedicated nurses and endoscopy technicians.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 GI ED call coverage
• Provide OR call
• Perform procedures including ERCPs, dilation, sphincterotomy, stent placement, endoscopy, colonoscopy, esophageal dilation, bleed control, banding, EGDs, biopsies, foreign body removal, duodenal cases, polypectomies, sclerotherapy, and Bravo studies

Shift & Schedule

• ASAP - Ongoing
• 7-15 shifts per month
• 24-Hour Call

Qualifications

• Board certification required
• EUS experience is preferred
