Position Overview
We are looking for enthusiastic and knowledgeable individuals to join our Garden Center Team. As a team member, you will play a vital role in assisting customers, maintaining our plant inventory and creating a welcoming environment for all garden enthusiasts.
Responsibilities
- Operate our Point of Sale program and process transactions accurately.
- Maintain a neat and organized display of plants and garden products.
- Assist customers with plant selection, gardening advice and landscaping ideas.
- Care for plants to ensure their health and appeal.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure the overall cleanliness and attractiveness of the garden center.
Qualifications
- Passion for plants, gardening and outdoor living.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy items.
- Previous retail or gardening experience is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and share knowledge with customers.
Competitive pay starting at $16.00 per hour, depending on experience.
