Job Description

FWSU is seeking a school psychologist for the school year to work as part of the evaluation team as needed. The successful candidate will have a great deal of experience working in the evaluation and identification of students with disabilities, benchmark assessments, and progress monitoring as follows:

  1. Conduct cognitive assessments
  2. Conduct psychological/social assessments
  3. Provide educational planning teams with written reports, including scores and recommendations for special education, eligibility determination, and service planning.
  4. Consult with planning team members, special educators, teachers, and parents as needed
  5. Provide staff training as needed

Job Requirements

  • Proof of professional liability insurance and must pass a criminal background check, including fingerprinting.
  • Master degree preferred.
