Position Overview
The Student Services Assistant provides front-line support for the Registrar's Office by greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and delivering excellent customer service. This position assists with routine office tasks including data entry, updates in the CX system, spreadsheet management, and special projects as assigned. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working with confidential student information in a fast-paced environment.
Major Areas of Responsibility
- Customer Service: Greet and assist visitors in the Registrar's Office; answer phone calls and direct inquiries to appropriate staff.
- Administrative Support: Complete simple data updates and assist with document preparation and delivery.
- Technical Tasks: Enter and update information in the university's CX student information system; assist with spreadsheet management.
- Special Projects: Support the Registrar's team with projects related to enrollment, records, and compliance.
- Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the efficient operation of the office.
