Mitigation ManagerThe Mitigation Manager will be working within our Emergency Services (Mitigation) Department. The Mitigation Manager's primary responsibility is to ensure growth and development of the mitigation business, department, and staff.$70,000 - $80,000 per year + bonus opportunities - based on experienceResponsibilities:Management and delegation of Mitigation Department staff, including emergency services and contentsRecruit, train and coach Mitigation Department staff and (Labor, Mitigation Crew Leaders and Coordinators)Set goals for each team member that can be explained and measured; conduct annual, mid year and 90 day performance reviews with staffParticipate in the hiring processApprove hourly employees time cards on a weekly basisConduct monthly staff meetingsUse tools and reporting to budget and margin results (50%)Drive response and urgencyMaintain morale and engagementRecruit vendors and subcontractors; ensure subcontractor complianceResponsible for Resource Management of the following:Movement, care, and inventory of equipment in the warehouse and on jobsitesTracking of assets (equipment)Dispatching of TechniciansOn Call ScheduleVehicle MaintenanceStaffing needsComplete estimates for Mitigation lossesReview estimates written by Mitigation Crew LeadersCommunicate and negotiate with insurance carriersMaintain and create good relationship with insurance carriers and vendorsAuditing of customer service complaintsManage and exceed expectations for job profitEnsure production meets the set Gross Profit goalsCollection of payment from closed jobsMonitor and address safety issues and practice safety practices including proper PPEFollow the Paul Davis Values, Vision, Mission, and 10 Serving BasicsMarketing and sales of your company's services to current and potential client base, insurance carriers, and industry professionalsCollect Accounts ReceivableAttend industry related trainingsAll other duties as assignedCompetency – Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)Extensive knowledge of estimation softwareExtensive Knowledge of emergency services within the restoration industryCustomer Service SkillsCommunication skillsAdministration skillsCoaching and leadership skillsEffective meeting skillsStrategic Planning skillsAbility to learn and operate our primary operating systems: RMS, Xactimate, Luxor, Sage, Contractor Connection, ADP, SharePoint, and One DriveAbility to create documents and invoicesAbility to answer and communicate with customers over the phone and face to faceAbility to work independentlyAbility to coordinate multiple jobs within the same time frameAbility to oversee a staff of up to twenty employeesStress Management and ComposureMaintain a level of confidentialityRequired Education and Experience:High School Diploma or GED requiredTwo plus years' experience in a Management or Leadership role within the Restoration IndustryFive plus years' experience within the Emergency Services Department within the Restoration IndustryExperience with writing Emergency Services (Mitigation) estimatesPreferred Education and Experience:Associate Degree or bachelor's DegreeIICRC certificationsPhysical Requirement:Must be able to stay in a stationary position up to 50% of the timeThe person in this position needs to frequently move about client's properties to complete estimates and oversee completion of jobsConstantly operates a computerMust be able to communicate and converse with customers and staff over the phone and face to faceOccasionally will lift up to 50lbsAbility to safely operate a company vehicleMake an impact now: Paul Davis is proud of our 56-year heritage serving people in their time of need when facing disaster and having their worst day.
