Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Progressively responsible experience in manufacturing operations,
- Demonstrated technical/mechanical knowledge, you will need to learn how to operate our furnace (EAF).
- Experience in process engineering and continuous improvement programs, such as lean manufacturing and 6S is a plus
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and compliance standards.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and develop subordinates, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement; there will be one supervisor and 30 or so union employees
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of achieving production targets, improving operational efficiency, and driving results.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
