Role OverviewYou will help shape how AI is trained, assessed, and applied in real-world legal work. The role is especially suited to attorneys with deep experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and redlining technology-related agreements.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises.
- Review and assess AI responses to contract scenarios, delivering expert feedback that improves accuracy and precision.
- Develop objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria for consistent, rigorous assessment of AI contract work.
- Work with product and research teams to refine training data, guidelines, and best practices for AI-driven contract review.
- Help improve how AI systems interpret contractual language and identify legal risk.
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- At least 2 years of experience in the funds department of a corporate law firm.
- Experience with fund management, fund formation, contract redlining, and contract negotiations.
- Familiarity with M&A-related agreements, including LPAs, subscription agreements, and side letters.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical ability, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to convert legal expertise into actionable feedback for AI systems.
- Commitment to innovation at the intersection of law and technology, with experience collaborating across disciplines in fast-paced settings.
- Prior experience with AI, legal technology, or training initiatives.
