A law firm seeks a Funds Associate for their Oakland, CA office. The ideal candidate will have a general corporate and securities background with specific experience advising investment funds throughout their lifecycle. Experience with private equity, private credit, and venture capital funds is preferred.
Duties
- Advise investment funds at all stages of their lifecycle.
- Collaborate with attorneys in the Financial Services & Capital Markets unit.
- Articulate legal strategies and courses of action effectively.
- Handle multiple projects under pressure.
Requirements
- Three to five years of relevant experience preferred.
- Active bar license in the state of the office applied to or commitment to obtain one.
- Excellent academic credentials.
- Superior interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated record of community commitment.
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
Certifications
Active bar license.
