We celebrate victories for animals and support one another in achieving our shared goals.Position Objective: To support the Development team with donor stewardship and operational efficiency through direct donor interactions, information management and workflow, mail fulfillment, inventory coordination, and collaboration with the Legacy Gifts, Major Gifts, and Corporate Giving departments.Primary Responsibilities and Duties:Play a key role in donor communication, facilitate stewardship support through taking responsibility for:Responding to select donor inquiries via phone, email, and mail in a timely and professional mannerProcessing and fulfilling daily requests from supporters, including updating donor records and sending appropriate materialsManage responses to mailings and ensure timely follow-upCoordinate PETA's Tree of Life memorial recognition programHandle returned mail and follow up with donors to ensure accurate deliverySubmit entries in the donor database and process daily reportsManage mailings of cards, custom reports, and special gifts to donors, including collaborating across departments and with PETA leadershipRoute and process incoming mail, including confidential documents and donor feedback formsPrepare and send select donor materials and coordinate mailingsAssemble and distribute welcome kits for select membersResearch and propose quarterly victory articles to support donor engagementTake ownership of information management through:Maintaining accurate and up-to-date donor records, including flags, contact details, and research notesAccess and route donor correspondence files via WIA serviceMaintain and track inventory of legacy materials, donor gifts, and in-kind donations, and coordinate documentation and storage with OperationsProcess NCOA/bad address reports and assist with database cleanup projectsAssist select team members with research and special projectsCoordinate across departments and manage competing prioritiesPerform any other duties assigned by the supervisorRequirements:College degree or equivalent experience in nonprofit development, donor relations, or customer serviceExceptional organizational and time management skillsStrong attention to detail and proven ability to handle data with a high level of accuracyAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentProfessional and reliable in handling donor-facing responsibilitiesProven ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion at all timesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills and willingness to work collaborativelyProficiency with donor databases (CRM's), Asana, and Microsoft 365Demonstrated commitment to animal liberation and to the objectives of the organizationThe hourly pay range for this position is $16.75 - $18.25.
