Duties
- Assist in fund and management structuring.
- Negotiate with institutional investors, including government pension plans and endowments.
- Handle secondary sales of LP fund stakes on both buy- and sell-side.
- Participate in GP-led fund restructurings.
- Draft and review legal documents with precision.
- Collaborate with partners, senior counsels, and clients.
Requirements
- 2-6 years of experience in fund formation and investment management.
- Knowledge of the Investment Advisers Act registration and compliance.
- Understanding of the Securities Act as it pertains to private investment funds.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude.
- Exceptional work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Education
JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
Certifications
Active member in good standing of the Bar in the jurisdiction(s) where admitted.
Skills
