Duties
- Structure funds and management entities.
- Negotiate with institutional investors, including government pension plans and endowments.
- Handle secondary sales of LP fund stakes on both buy- and sell-side.
- Manage GP-led fund restructurings.
- Draft and review legal documents.
- Collaborate with partners, senior counsels, and clients.
Requirements
- Experience in fund formation and investment management.
- Knowledge of the Investment Advisers Act registration.
- Compliance experience.
- Understanding of the Securities Act as it relates to private investment funds.
- Strong interpersonal skills and work ethic.
Education
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
Certifications
- Active member in good standing of the Bar in the jurisdiction(s) where admitted.
