Fund Finance VP

A New York-based multi-strategy alternative asset manager is seeking a VP of Fund Finance to join its growing team. This is a high-impact, hands‑on role sitting at the intersection of fund accounting, operations, and investor reporting, with direct exposure to senior leadership and meaningful involvement across all of the firm's investment vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

• Own core fund finance functions including fund accounting, operations, treasury, and LP reporting
• Manage the monthly and quarterly reporting cycle; review and coordinate deliverables from third‑party fund administrators to ensure accuracy and consistency across vehicles
• Support capital call and distribution processes, bank covenant reporting, and liquidity planning
• Partner cross‑functionally with FP&A, IR, legal, and investment teams on capital planning, portfolio analytics, and investor diligence
• Contribute to building scalable reporting tools, templates, and control procedures that support firm growth
• Mentor and oversee senior associates
• In‑office 4x/week in NYC

Requirements

• 6+ years of fund finance or fund accounting experience
