Bonus: EligibleAbout the Opportunity A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Financial Services Transactions practice in Charlotte, NC. This role focuses on sophisticated fund finance matters and is well-suited for an attorney with 3-5 years of experience handling complex transactional work within a leading law firm environment.

The ideal candidate will bring experience from an Am Law 200 firm or a highly respected regional firm known for handling sophisticated matters.Practice FocusFinancial Services TransactionsFund FinanceIP Transactions (transactional exposure preferred)Mergers & AcquisitionsKey ResponsibilitiesRepresent financial institutions and fund sponsors in complex financing transactions.Draft and negotiate credit agreements and related loan documentation, including subscription credit facilities.Advise on a range of fund finance structures such as NAV, hybrid, and management company facilities.Collaborate with cross-functional deal teams on M&A and related transactions.Maintain strong client relationships and manage deal flow with increasing autonomy.Candidate ProfileJ.D. from a Top 50 law school preferred.3-5 years of transactional experience, with substantial exposure to fund finance or financial services transactions.Background with an Am Law 200 firm strongly preferred; will also consider candidates from respected regional firms handling complex matters.Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating sophisticated financing documents.Strong academic credentials and analytical skills.North Carolina Bar admission (or eligibility to waive in) preferred.Comfortable with a hybrid schedule (generally 3 days in-office).Required Skill SetAdvanced legal drafting and negotiation skillsExperience managing financial transactions from inception to closingStrong client communication and relationship managementAbility to handle multiple complex matters simultaneouslyBenefits OverviewComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverageGenerous PTO and parental leaveLife, AD&D, and disability insuranceRelocation supportBar exam and licensing reimbursementRetirement and financial wellness programsInclusive culture with meaningful mentorship and career developmentWhy Charlotte?
