Position Overview – Fund Accountant - REMOTE Summers!

Looking for a Finance Accountant to join our finance team, working with our CFO & Controllers. The Finance Accounting Analyst will have broad responsibility for supporting our Finance Team with financial reporting to the investment management team, investors, regulators, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly account reconciliations, including NAV calculations and agree to the fund administrator’s records. This applies to a Master Feeder structure and various co-investment funds.
• Ensure the preparation of timely and accurate management and financial information for the funds managed by the firm and implement appropriate procedures and controls (i.e., valuations, performance estimates, month end NAV, partnership allocations, investor K-1s, audit and tax).
• Perform and help manage all aspects of the finance function for a registered investment adviser.
• Ensure the firm’s funds’ accounting records are prepared in accordance with appropriate accounting policies and applicable regulatory and tax requirements.
• Manage invoice processing, expense allocations, bookkeeping in QuickBooks and management company financial reporting/tax/audit for multiple entities.

Company Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in the financial industry (accounting and/or asset management firm)
• CPA candidate preferred
• Private equity and credit experience preferred
• A proactive thinker who is comfortable and excited with the entrepreneurial aspect of working at a growing firm with a unique strategy
• Outstanding analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Strong skills in communication and articulation
• The ability to multi‑task and execute a wide range of assignments under tight timelines
• Strong academic background (BA/BS required)
